About these terms
These terms govern the use of the belanote.app website. By using the website you agree to them. Terms for the Belanote mobile app will be separate and will appear before it launches.
What the website does
The website tells you about Belanote, takes waitlist signups and lets you download free consent form templates. The app has not been released at the time of publication, so descriptions of features and prices are indicative and may change.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is not an order or a commitment to buy. We will send a confirmation email and news about the launch. You can unsubscribe with the link in every email. How we process data is described in the privacy policy.
Inviting colleagues and the bonus
Once you confirm your email you get a personal link. For every person who joins the waitlist through it for the first time and confirms their email, we add +1 month of Pro, up to 3 months. The bonus is granted together with the waitlist gift after the app launches, to the account with the same email. It is not granted for your own repeated sign-ups, unconfirmed addresses or people who unsubscribed. If we see abuse, such as made-up addresses, we may cancel the bonus. We may change the terms for future invitations; months already granted are not affected. Invite only people who want to hear from us: everyone gives their own consent on the form.
Consent form templates
The consent and questionnaire templates on the website are a sample for reference, not legal advice. Requirements depend on the country and the procedure, so have the text reviewed by a lawyer before you use it. We are not responsible for the consequences of using the templates without such a review.
Intellectual property
The texts, design and logo of Belanote belong to the Belanote team. You may download the consent templates and use them in your own work, but you may not pass them off as your own product or sell them.
Liability
The website is provided “as is”. We try to keep the information accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always available. Comparisons with other services are based on the public data of their websites on the date given in the text.
Changes to the terms
