Who processes your data

The data controller is the Belanote team, which builds the app of the same name for beauty professionals. This policy covers the belanote.app website and its waitlist. How to reach us is in the “Contact” section at the bottom of this page.

What data we collect

When you join the waitlist we store: your email (or your Telegram handle, if you left it earlier), your speciality (nails, lashes, brows, etc.), your country, the language of the page, the source of your visit (UTM tags), the site you came from (the domain only, never the path), the page of our site where you signed up and the time of your consent. Once you confirm your email we create a personal code for an invitation link; if you came through someone's invitation, we store whose.

The website does not use tracking cookies and loads no third-party advertising scripts.

Why, and on what basis

We use this data to send you a confirmation email, the free material you chose, and news about the app launch.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). It is voluntary and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

Data is stored on our servers in a data centre in Germany (EU), with the hosting provider netcup GmbH. Emails are sent by the mailing service Brevo (a data processor). We do not sell data or pass it to advertising networks.

Website analytics

The website uses Umami: a cookie-free analytics service that runs on our own server. It counts page views and records the referrer, device type, browser, operating system and country. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites.

When you join the waitlist, analytics receives only the fact of the signup, the page language, your speciality, the source of your visit (UTM) and the page, without your email or Telegram handle. Analytics data is stored on the same server as the rest of the website data.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are on the waitlist. After you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we erase your contact and keep only anonymous statistics.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can withdraw your consent. Unsubscribe with the link in any email. For anything else, use the contact details at the bottom of this page. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

App data

Client data that a professional enters into the app (including health-related data) belongs to that professional. It is encrypted on the device and is not available to the Belanote team. A separate policy for the app will be published before launch.
